This class is inspired by the many gifts the trees have offered humans throughout history and their incredible role in ecology. We will explore their uses and teachings through a mix of stories and interactive activities such as:

Learning to identify species of the Eastern Woodlands and their uses for food and medicine, making rope from tree bark, processing acorns into flour, what hidden clues they reveal about the landscape, how they can help us survive, and more.
